Outstanding company, staff and technicians. I dealt with Marx Mechanical for service on a commercial heating system for a commercial manufacturing facility. From the moment I called Marx and spoke with Logan, I was dealt with in the most friendly, courteous and professional manner. Erfan showed up at the site the next day, and he was very friendly and professional. He explained what the issue was & gave us options for a solution... Erfan completed a complicated and tedious job in much less time than expected... he knows his stuff! The unit is up and running great. I had an excellent experience dealing with Marx Mechanical in general and their technician Erfan Armini in particular, this summer. Erfan helped me to replace an old air conditioning unit. He is friendly, polite, hardworking, resourceful, and smart—everything you want in a tradesperson. I had already paid another HVAC company to service the air conditioner prior to working with Erfan. I have tenants and they were still complaining about the A/C not working. I had been chasing this initial company for a week to come and relook at the already serviced unit, with no returned call. It was a blessing in disguise—I gave up and luckily found Marx Mechanical and Erfan. Marx and Erfan made it so easy—answering/returning calls, being on time, charging what they say they will charge, overcoming obstacles on-site, problem-solving, following through, etc. After the initial diagnostic visit, I decided to replace the entire A/C unit. Erfan did provide me with an alternative option to try to keep the old unit going, with no hard sales pressure to purchase new. With tenants, I didn’t want the worry. Erfan provided a detailed quotation sent the next day. When that A/C unit ended up on back order from their supplier, Erfan found an alternative unit quickly for the same price. Deinstallation and installation were done in two days as originally promised and within about a week of our initial meeting. Of note—Erfan found when removing the old air conditioner that the company who originally installed it 20 years prior had not connected the A/C to a second pair of air ducts for the second floor. It was only connected to one set of ducts on the third floor. Poor workmanship that I blindly paid for and put up with for 20 years! Save yourself the trouble and trust Marx Mechanical and Erfan Armini for all your air conditioning needs. Thank you Marx and Erfan!

I hired Marx Mechanical to come and install venting for my hood fan. They were able to accommodate me in a very short period of time, which I was so grateful for. The guy that came was so patient and good with my dogs, who can sometimes be a little overwhelming. At one point, a bag of screws fell into his bag and he returned today to drop them off. We both thought it was hysterical. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience and I will not hesitate to hire them again for any future jobs!

Our pool heat pump was no longer heating. Marx had a technician come out the same day (Saturday). Cheyenne (hopefully I've spelled his name correctly) was extremely friendly and polite. He diagnosed the problem - it needed a new capacitor. Since he didn't have the correct size on hand, he was able to get the heat pump working again with a temporary, smaller capacitor. Marx is coming back on Monday to swap it out for the correct size. Would highly recommend Marx to anyone. Thanks Cheyenne!

Marx Mechanical has great service for furnace and AC servicing. In particular, I really appreciate Erfan Amini's service. He's been to my house 3 times over the past year to service the furnace and now the AC unit. Each time he's been prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. He takes the time needed to do a great job, and also takes the time to explain the issue(s) at play, and the options to fix them. He is honest and transparent about the status of the units, describes the health of the unit and the longevity of its unit. When describing the options he always takes into account cost-effectiveness and the long and short-term benefits of each option and describes them to me in detail. Our furnace stopped working Jan 20. I called our gas supplier. Couldn't send anyone until Wednesday. Spoke with Mark; he sent someone at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, dropping off heaters. Our new furnace was installed the next day. The tech guys were amazing—professional installation. Mark was so helpful in explaining to me the issue I was having and recommendations for buying the new furnace. I would highly recommend this company versus my gas supplier. A couple of weeks ago, my 15-year-old furnace started acting up. I made the decision to replace it a few days later. I worked with Jason in determining my best option. Unfortunately, the furnace died a couple of days after this decision. Marx Mechanical staff rearranged their schedule and were here the next day replacing my furnace (in a snowstorm).
