Air-Source Heat Pump

Air-source heat pumps are an incredibly energy efficient method of heating and cooling your home. Heat pumps are also incredibly flexible in how they can be installed. Since no duct work is required, they are a perfect solution for homes that rely on electricity for heat.

Rebate: $2500 – $5000

Heat Pump Water Heater

Heat pumps are most often associated with space-heating, but they can also be used as an effective and efficient way to heat water. Heat pumps for the purpose of water heating can be used in isolation to only heat your water, or they can be combined with your home’s existing heat pump system.

Rebate: Up to $1000

Estimate Your Potential Energy Grant Savings

Heat Pump Eligibility – Your new system must be ENERGY STAR® certified and on Natural Resources Canada’s (NRCan’s) Eligible Product List.
Licensed Installers – Systems must be installed by a licensed professional. NRCan recommends your contractor sign a licensing attestation form.
Sizing Attestation – Your contractor must sign a sizing attestation form to confirm that the unit is sized to service the entire home.
Place of Purchase – Your equipment must be purchased in Canada or from a Canadian distributor (if buying online).
